CHICAGO (May 16, 2007) - Today, HIMSS Analytics™ announced the release of the Essentials of the U.S. Hospital IT Market - 2007. The publication, available in PDF format, is in its second year of publication and is based on an analysis of current data taken from the HIMSS Analytics Database. The HIMSS Analytics Database contains detailed IT information on more than 5,000 hospitals and 28,000 medical facilities in the U.S.
