HIMSS Analytics Enhances Data Mining with New Navigation Tools

CHICAGO (January 26, 2009) – HIMSS Analytics announces the release of an enhanced user interface and new features to the HIMSS Analytics Database that offer easier navigation to detailed demographic and information technology (IT) data on healthcare providers.  The expanded criteria for standard database reports gives users greater flexibility when mining data because they can sort by and combine more information, such as facility types, specific geographic locations, and bed ranges.

 In the next several months, HIMSS Analytics also plans to add new standard reporting tools for reports on Bar Coding/ RFID, Next Generation RCM, Revenue Cycle Management, and Patient Safety. These new improvements reaffirm the organization’s commitment to excellent customer service.
